Hi, I’m Stefanie.
Here’s a bit more about me…
Two decades of work in the mental health field allowed me the privilege to witness people’s inner dragons and walk beside them on their journey to reclaim their power.
What I’ve learned from my professional and personal experience is maintaining mental and emotional well-being is hard work. It’s a daily practice that takes dedication, motivation, and the realisation that you hold all the answers you will ever need. It starts with acceptance and believing you are worthy of happiness, abundance, and love.
My burning passion for this work originated from my journey toward mental wellness.
I am no stranger to embracing the dragon. Growing up with a father who struggled with alcohol addiction and depression led to ongoing anxiety as a child and young adult. A traumatic birth experience resulted in postpartum depression and anxiety. These hardships are my greatest gift. They have allowed me to experience first-hand what it means to do the inner work and fight the stigma around mental health and addiction.
I firmly believe we all have the power as individuals and a community to drive change, raise awareness, educate ourselves, find solutions together and build the services we believe are needed in our communities.
These achievements can not be done alone. They result from passionate, dedicated individuals, families, organisations and communities bound by the belief that we deserve better and have the power to create better for ourselves and our communities.
When we collectively rise up together, there is no limit to what we can accomplish.
